This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of a proposed training program based on the TPACK model in developing some teaching competencies (PTPDI) among female student teachers of the basic stage at the Faculty of Education at the Islamic University, Gaza. The researcher adopted the one-group quasi-experimental method, and the study tools involved designing a cognitive test to measure the cognitive competencies of female student teachers and an observation card for the teaching performance to measure skill competencies and measure their attitudes towards the proposed training program. The researcher also prepared a training program. The study sample consisted of (32) female student teachers at the Faculty of Education at the Islamic University, Gaza. The results of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.01) between the average scores of female student teachers in the pre and post cognitive competencies test in favour of the post application. The study also found that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.01) between the average scores of female student teachers in the pre and post teaching performance observation card in favour of the post-observation card. Also positive attitudes among female student teachers towards the training program. The study concluded that the training program has achieved effectiveness in testing cognitive competencies and in the observation card of teaching performance exceeding (1.2) according to Blake’s Modified Gain Ratio.
