برنامج تدريبي لتنمية ثقافة التقويم القائم على الكفايات لدى معلمي العلوم بمراحل التعليم العام
This research aimed at preparing a training program for developing competency-based assessment literacy among science teachers in general education stages in Saudi Arabia. To achieve this objective, the training program was prepared which consisted of the trainer's manual and trainees' worksheets. Three measuring tools were developed also to measure the competency-based assessment literacy which included: the knowledge test of competency-based assessment, observation checklist of competency-based assessment skills, and scale of attitudes toward competency-based assessment. The quasi experimental method with pre-posttest of one group design was used. The research experiment was implemented upon a group of (34) male and female science teachers in general education stages in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the summer training for the month of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1439 AH at King Khalid University. Data was analyzed using the paired samples T test, and the ETA square (η2). The results of this research revealed the effectiveness of the training program in developing competency-based assessment literacy with Its three dimensions of research group. (Published abstract)
