To achieve this purpose, the research used the comparative approach, according to this approach the research follow the following steps, starting with the clarifying the theoretical framework of communities of practice, and the nature of the relationship between the communities of practice and the professional development for teachers, then the research presented the most prominent features of the implementation of communities of practice in United State of America and Australia, this was followed by a step in the comparative analysis to explain similarities and differences, the last step included the results and proposed procedures.
