معوقات تطبيق استراتيجيات التقويم البديل وأدواته لتقويم أداء الطلبة في برنامج اللغة الإنجليزية والترجمة بجامعة القصيم من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس
The present research aimed to determine the obstacles for implementing alternative evaluation strategies and their tools for evaluating students' performance in the English Language Program from the perspectives of Faculty members at Qassim University. The sample of the study consisted of thirty-six (36) faculty member. The findings of the study showed that the obstacles relating to Development and training programs came in the first rank followed by obstacles relating to faculty members. Then, the obstacles relating to departments and colleges, and the last one was the obstacles relating to students. Results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of faculty members' use of the alternative evaluation strategies related to the faculty members' specialization, academic rank, or gender. Recommendations were offered in light of the results of the study at the end. (Published abstract)
