The present study aimed to identify the professional Associations is an Approach to the professional development of teachers of students with special needs in the Sultanate of Oman. The study used the descriptive method, and the analysis of documents was used in collecting data and information. The results of the study concluded that the Council of Exceptional Children in the United States of America provides various services to teachers of students with special needs, such as: various and continuous professional development programs, building professional standards for teachers, publishing various publications of books and guides, holding regular conferences and Issue of two scientific journals specialized in the field of Educating and caring for children with special needs. The results also showed that professional associations for Students with special needs in the Sultanate of Oman are limited to people with disabilities, not talented, and education and care services are provided to students and their families without caring about teachers.
