The current study aimed to identify the reality of using animation with students with intellectual disabilities who capable of learning from the point of view of their teachers in Jeddah. The researcher followed the descriptive and analytical approach. The sample of the study consisted of (112) teachers for students with intellectual disability in Jeddah. The researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (23) items distributed on two axes: The reality of using animation and the obstacles to using the animation. The results of the study showed that the arithmetic average of the degree to which the individuals of the sample used the animation in the educational process was (3,95). This indicates teachers agree to use the animation with students with intellectual disabilities. The study also showed that the arithmetic means of the axis of obstacles reached (3.60), which indicates the existence of obstacles that limit the use of animation with students with intellectual disabilities it is represented in: The lack of free programs for producing animations is an obstacle to their use by teachers, in addition to the lack of training courses for teachers to design and produce animations, and the large teaching load limit teachers’ use of animation with students with intellectual disabilities, with the difficulty of using animation production and design programs.
