جماليات المسرح التربوي : دراسة نماذج من الممارسات التعليمية والمسرحية في المدرسة المغربية
Educational theatre embodies the controversial relationship between theatre, education, and culture. It is represented in the Moroccan school through pedagogical theatricality, in-class drama activities as well as school theatrical shows. This study seeks to exploit an aesthetic paradigm that renovates the place of art and the aesthetic values in the school culture, and to implement this paradigm in the teaching and theatrical practices in the Moroccan school. For this purpose, this thesis adopts applied aesthetics that have two major objectives. The first objective is theoretical, and it seeks to clarify the aesthetic paradigm and its conception of the relationship between theatre, education, and culture based on fundamental stages in the philosophy of art and the aesthetics of theatre. Based on this paradigm, a taxonomy of “Ideal Types” of educational theatre is then provided. The second objective, on the other hand, is practical and it is devoted to a qualitative examination of the teaching and theatrical practices at secondary schools in addition to unravelling the challenges and prospects of innovation and experimentation in educational theatre through two main projects; a youth theatre project and a drama project set up in accordance with the aesthetic paradigm.
