The study aims to explore the level of Student-Teachers' science content knowledge at Yarmouk University in relation to some variables (GPA and secondary education branch). The sample of the study consisted of 120 fourth year level student-teachers at Yarmouk University. An achievement test was used. Results indicated that the level of Student Teachers' science content knowledge on "material and energy", "health education and the human body", and "natural environment and its conservation" domains came in the "moderate" category, and on the test as a whole, while (biological diversity) domain came in "low" category. There were also differences as of GPA; favoring "very good", and there were no differences that can be attributed to the variable secondary education branch. Moreover, the results indicated differences in "material and energy" and "biological diversity" domains due to the GPA variable, and here were no significant differences in "health education and the human body" and "natural environment" domains. The results also indicated no significant differences due to the variable secondary education major in any of the four domains. The study recommended enriching the programs of classroom teacher in Jordanian universities with more courses in the field of science content. (Published abstract)
