درجة معرفة الطلبة المعلمين تخصص الدراسات الإسلامية لأحكام التجويد في مقررات التجويد ووجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس تجاهها ومقترحاتهم لتحسينها
The study aims to identify the degree of pre-service Islamic studies teachers' knowledge of the recitation (Tajweed) rules, and faculty members' views, as well as their suggestions towards improving it. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used two instruments. First, Recitation achievement test that consisted of 50 questions; applied to a sample of 102 pre-service teachers. Second, a two open-ended questionnaires for academic staff members distributed to a sample consisting of 12 faculty members in the College of Shari'a. The results of the study showed low achievement level for pre-service teachers' in sound articulation and attributes of letters. The responses of the academic staff members in the open-ended questionnaire approved the mistakes in the recitation. Faculty members referred pre-service teacher's recitation mistakes to their lack of awareness of the importance of such ability and its impact on the quality of their level of knowledge, as of their teaching career.
