The study aims at identifying the reasons that direct the secondary stage students toward tutoring in Irbid Governorate. It also aims to identify the methods and means that contribute to their reduction as viewed by the educational leaders and parents. The researcher followed the analytic descriptive method, and the sample consisted of 385 students and 50 educational leaders and parents. The questionnaire and interviews were used as instruments of the study. The results showed that the reasons that make the secondary stage students resort to tutoring have a high load. The results further showed statistically significant differences ascribed to the study variables: Gender variable, in favor of the females; Educational major, in favor of the literary major; and Residence variable, in favor of urban (city dwellers). Suggested solutions were proposed in the interview. (Published Abstract)
