The present study aims to shed light on the reality of the process of supervising bachelor students' graduation dissertations from the perspective of the first year master students in the Department of Social Sciences at larbi ben mhidi University - oum el bouaghi. This study used the descriptive analytical method on a sample of 112 students by applying a questionnaire designed for this purpose. The study concluded that the supervisors exercise their supervisory roles to varying degrees. The percentages obtained indicate that both academic cognitive roles andhuman roles are practiced in an almost average manner. (Published abstract)
