التحدّي العقدي الإلحادي في الفكر الغربي وأثره على الفكر التربوي الإسلاميّ في العصر الحديث
The research aims to identify the history of the emergence of atheism in Western thought; determine the reasons for its emergence in the Islamic world; then revealing the negative effects of atheism on Islamic educational thought in the modern era; and a review of some of the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting atheist suggest some ways in which the atheistic creed challenge can be faced in the Islamic world. The researchers used the historical method and the descriptive documentary method. A number of results were reached, the most important of which are the following: 1) The tyranny of the European Church is the main reason for the emergence and spread of Western atheistic thought in the Middle Ages. 2) One of the reasons for the emergence of atheism in the Islamic world is neglect of proper education, ignorance of the teachings of religion, and fascination with the civilization of the West. 3) Among the negative effects of atheism are anxiety, confusion, psychological disturbances, moral deterioration, and the disintegration of the family. 4) One of the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting atheism is to strengthen national unity and prevent everything that leads to discord, strife and division.
