The study aimed to reveal the participatory leadership practices of secondary school leaders in the city of Hail, and the study used the qualitative approach that focuses on describing the phenomenon and a deep understanding of it, and the study was applied to a sample of secondary school leaders in the city of Hail by conducting in-depth, semi structured qualitative interviews on the study sample. The results of the study reached a number of practices of participatory leadership in the areas of participation in leadership tasks, human relations, delegation of authority, communication and information building. Accordingly, the study came out with the most important recommendations for secondary school leaders in the city of Hail, including enhancing the participation of secondary school deputies in the process of making and making decisions related to work, in addition to recommendations for education offices in the city of Hail, including reducing centralization in school leadership for secondary schools in Hail, and selecting school leaders qualified to practice participatory leadership.
