This study aimed to identify the practice degree of general education school leaders to achieve methods of excellence institutional in Jeddah governorate. The researcher used the descriptive approach, the study population was (589) and the study sample consisted of (100) leaders. The researcher used a questionnaire for the study consisting of two pivots, the first one (The contribution of workers to achieve institutional excellence). The second one (The role of the leader and the school environment in achieving institutional excellence). The results of the study showed that the practice degree of general education schools' leaders of methods to achieve institutional excellence in Jeddah was large degree, with an arithmetic mean of (3.79) and a standard deviation (0.76), and the presence of statistically significant differences in all study tool pivots in the practice degree of general education school leaders in Jeddah, according to the educational stages variable. It also showed apparent differences in the arithmetic means in all the study tool pivots according to the years of experience variable. In the light of the results, the study recommends continuing to apply the practice degree of general education school leaders to achieve methods of institutional excellence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia because its impact to improve the performance of functional and occupational of school leaders which lead to improve the educational process.
