فعالية برنامج تدريبي مقترح قائم على الأنشطة الاجتماعية لتنمية بعض المهارات الاجتماعية للتلاميذ المعاقين سمعيا
This study aimed at examining the effectiveness of a proposed program of improving the social skills and communications among students of Hard of hearing compared with their peers of normal students at mainstreaming schools in Jeddah. To achieve the purpose of the study, a training program was constructed, and applied on the experimental group through 30 sessions during the first semester in the academic year 2014/2015. The sample was selected purposively from the students with Hard of hearing was and assigned into two groups, experimental and control groups. Both groups was responded to the social communication scale before the treatment, then the program was applied after 8 weeks. The results showed that there were statistical differences in the social communications of the experiment group between the rank means of the pretest and the posttest in the favor of the posttest. On the other hand there were not statistical differences for the control group. In the light of the results, some recommendations were suggested such as: generalizing the program to the centers of rehabilitating of hearing impaired. (Published abstract)
