The aim of the study is to detect reluctance of Ph.D. graduates to prepare scientific research at the Faculty of Education, Yarmouk University, to identify the differences in the obstacles to scientific research according to the gender variable, the sample consisted of (291) doctoral graduates, (166) of females and (125) of males. The current study relied on the survey descriptive approach based on the electronic questionnaire as the main tool for data collection. The results of the study were as follows: First came the axis of personal and social obstacles, and secondly: the axis of procedural obstacles to prepare scientific research, to a medium degree, and there are no statistically significant differences in the obstacles to preparing research Scientific research according to the variable of the study (gender). The researchers recommended: A- To identify the obstacles facing Ph.D. graduates in the field of preparing scientific research by the competent authorities and to try to develop appropriate solutions, in order to improve research outputs, B- Paying attention to the establishment of courses, seminars and workshops training to help researchers develop research expertise. c. Conducting more research and studies related to the preparation of scientific research on other samples not covered by the research. (Published abstract)
