The present study aimed to identify the problems that face school principals in evaluating their job performance in Al Dhahirah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, also used the questionnaire to collect data and information were applied to a sample of (70) principals. The study population was represented in all school principals in Al Dhahirah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, which numbered (82) principals, The researchers used the descriptive method, which depends on the statistical analysis program in the social sciences (spss). The results of the study reached that the problems facing school principals in evaluating their job performance in Al Dhahirah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman were generally high degree. And high degree in two Fields problems related to annual efficiency reports, and problems related to systems and work procedures, while it was moderate degree in the Field of problems related to those responsible for evaluating performance; Results also showed that there were no significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) in the study variables which are sex, academic level, and the educational stage.
