The study aimed to detect the reality of leadership skills practicing among heads of scientific departments in Prince Sattam bin Abd El-Aziz University from the view point of teaching staff in the university. The study also aimed to specify the difficulties that prevent them from practicing leadership skills. As it also aimed to present appropriate suggestions to enhance the scientific heads of departments practice of leadership skills. As well as to identify the possibility of the existence of statistically significant differences between the study members responses about the practice of leadership skills due to the following variables (Academic qualification, college, years of experience). The researcher used the descriptive survey method. The researcher designed an identification, which consisted of 51 phrases distributed over three axes. The study population consisted of all teaching staff in Prince Sattam Ibn Abd El-Aziz, which are 1413 members. The study sample was identified randomly, as it was 317 members. The top study results: 1) The study sample members highly agree with the reality of leadership skills practice among the heads of scientific departments in Prince Sattam Ibn Abd El-Aziz University. 2) The study sample members moderately agree with the difficulties that prevent the leadership skills practice of the heads of scientific departments in Prince Sattam Ibn Abd El-Aziz University. 3) The study sample members very highly agree with the appropriate suggestions to enhance the leadership skills practice of the heads of scientific departments in Prince Sattam Ibn Abd El-Aziz University. 4) There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level or less in the attitudes of the study sample members about (difficulties that prevent the heads of scientific departments in Prince Sattam bin Abd El-Aziz University from practicing leadership skills, the appropriate suggestions to enhance the leadership skills practice), and it differs according to the academic qualification. 5) There are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) level or less in the attitudes of the study sample members about (the appropriate suggestions to enhance the leadership skills practice of scientific departments heads at Prince Sattam Ibn Abd El-Aziz University from the viewpoint of the teaching staff), and it differs according to the college. 6) There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level and less between the study sample members who have less than 5 years of experience and the study sample members who have 5 years of experience or more about (the difficulties that prevent form practicing leadership skills), and that's for the sake of study sample members who have less than 5 years of experience. 7) There are statistically significant differences at (0.05) level and less between the study sample members who have 5 years of experience and the study sample members who have 5 years of experience or more about (the reality of leadership skills practice, the appropriate suggestions to enhance the practice of leadership skills), for the sake of the study sample members who have experience of 5 years or more.
