فاعلية برنامج قائم على نظرية العبء المعرفي في تنمية المهارات العقلية لدى الطالبات معلمات علم النفس
The aim of the research is the development of the mental skills of the female university students who teach psychology, through a program based on the cognitive Load theory, to achieve this Target, two experimental processing material have been prepared, these included: First, the program based on the cognitive Load Theory and the teacher’s manual and second, the measurement tool represented in the mental skills tests. The research sample consists of 60 2nd year female students, at The Faculty of Women- Ain Shams University, who teach psychology. The two-group semi- experimental approach is adopted throughout the research. The sample is divided into an experimental group of 30 female students, and a control group of the other 30 female students. The findings- results showed that there is a statistically significant difference for the benefit of the control group, at level (01) between the experimental group and the control group. In the average marks they got during the remote application of the mental-skill test. Thus, the research recommends the necessity of enriching curricula designed for all educational levels, Which the suitable learning drills and activities that will make students develop their mental skills. These activities will also enable students to sum up and arrange information in a way that will facilitate handling it and storing it away, and formulating a coherent and interconnected cognitive foundation.
