تطوير وحدة في مادة الفلسفة باستخدام خرائط العقل وفاعليتها في تنمية التحصيل والتفكير الإيجابي لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية
This research aims to develop academic achievement and positive thinking among secondary school students by developing a unit in philosophy using mind maps. The researcher developed the unit of philosophy and life from the philosophy curriculum of the second grade of secondary school that was performed by preparing a book for the student and a guide for the teacher to teach the unit using mind maps. The research sample included 47 female students in the second year of general secondary school, as an experimental group. To measure the efficacy of the unit, the researcher prepared a test for academic achievement, and another for positive thinking. The results of applying the two research tools to the students of the experimental group before and after teaching the unit revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the 0.01 level between the average scores of the experimental group students in the pre and post measurement of the extent of growth. The levels of achievement as a whole are in favor of the dimensional measurement and the extent of the growth of the levels of achievement, each separately, is also in favor of the dimensional measurement. The results of the research revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the mean scores of the experimental group of students in the pre and post measurement of the extent of the development of positive thinking skills as a whole in favor of the post measurement, and of the extent of positive thinking skills separately in favor of the post measurement.
