The study mainly aimed to uncover the requirements for developing strategic leadership among the leaders of the college of basic education in the public authority for applied education and training in the State of Kuwait, and the study used to achieve its goal the descriptive approach, by analyzing the concept of strategic leadership, and identifying its importance, characteristics, advantages, functions, dimensions, and requirements for achieving it in the college of basic education at the public authority for applied education and training in the state of Kuwait, as well as the reality of leadership performance in it, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which Subjecting all faculty leaders at the college level and at the departmental level to intensive training courses specialized in the method of strategic management, ensuring that all leaders of different organizational positions are involved in the process of designing, implementing and evaluating strategies directly and completely. Take the necessary measures that allow sufficient time for the deans to carry out the strategic planning process, such as allowing the heads of departments to discuss some formal matters and operational procedures. Establishing a body within the college to develop strategic leadership skills for the Assistant Dean and department heads. Create an incentive system to support the strategic leader during work and the college's strategic planning. (Published abstract)
