The purpose of this study was to identify the level of emotional self-efficacy and psychological stress among the students in an adolescence stage, in addition to detected the relationship between emotional self-efficacy and psychological stress, it also aimed to investigate the differences in the levels of emotional self-efficacy and psychological stress depending on gender and academic achievement or interaction between them . The study sample consisted of (492) students of both genders, who were randomly selected from all secondary schools within directorate of education of Bani Kenanah during the first semester of the academic year (2018-2019). The study was used Qualter, Pool, Garnder and Wols (2014) emotional self-efficacy scale and Belkasem & Shatwan (2016) psychology stress scale also. The results of the study indicate that there is a high level of self-efficacy and medium level of psychological stress. Moreover, results showed that there was significant negative relationship between emotional self-efficacy and psychological stress among students. The results also indicated that there were significant differences in emotional self-efficacy and psychological stress according to the academic achievement, while these differences disappeared according to gender variable or interaction between gender and academic achievement.
