The present study aimed to identify the reality of special education services provided in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) programs and identify the most important obstacles encountered in public education schools. To achieve these goals, the study used the qualitative approach by interviewing a sample of (9) teachers of ADHD programs at the elementary level in Riyadh city. The results of the study found that the mechanism followed by some of the program teachers to transfer the students to their programs does not depend on the various sources in the data collection, and the nature of the special educational services provided in these programs is unclear, in addition to the weak implementation of the most important educational strategies based on evidence in the field, the study also revealed that there are many obstacles facing ADHD programs. In the light of these results, the study presented recommendations and future proposals. (Published abstract)
