This research aimed at measuring the effectiveness of a suggested program based on Cyber wars geography in developing awareness of its dangers and promoting digital citizenship values for student teachers in the Faculty of Education. The present research utilized the descriptive approach and the quasi-experimental approach. The tools of the research included: a list of Cyber wars dangers, a list of digital citizenship values, the suggested program, a scale of awareness of Cyber wars dangers and a scale of promoting digital citizenship values. The research tools were pre and post administered on the research group consisting of 40 fourth year students, Geography department in 2019-2020. Results indicated that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of (0,01) between the mean scores of the research group on the pre and post administrations of the scale of awareness of Cyber wars dangers as a whole and in each of its three dimensions (cognitive - behavioral - affective) favoring the post administration. Also there was a statistically significant difference at the level of (0,01) between the mean scores of the research group on the pre and post administrations of the scale of promoting digital citizenship values as a whole and in each individual dimension favoring the post administration. The present research recommended that students should be aware of Cyber wars dangers and the consequent threat to society and national security. It is necessary for them to know their rights and responsibilities, and implement the proper rules when interacting digitally and using online personal safety methods. (Published abstract)
