Practical education is a key part of the teacher preparation programs that cannot be overlooked or neglected. Where practical education is the actual qualifying period of the student teacher and through it he recognizes about all aspects of the educational process. Therefore, the present study aimed to identify the reality of practical education programs in the State of Kuwait, revealing the features of practical education programs in the United States of America, then presenting some procedural suggestions to develop practical education programs in the State of Kuwait in light of the American experience. The United States of America was chosen as one of the leading countries in the field of education, where its universities obtained the largest share in the QS world university rankings in 2019, where it occupied the first four ranks in the ranking, furthermore American universities dominated the field of education in the Times Higher Education magazine ranking of the year 2020. The researcher used the comparative descriptive methodology to achieve the study goal, as she analyzed practical education programs in the State of Kuwait, represented by the practical education program in each of the College of Education at Kuwait University, and the College of Basic Education at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, and then compared it to practical education programs in a number of the world-class American universities which are: Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, New York University, James Madison University, University of Dallas and University of Kutztown. In light of the analysis and comparison results, the researcher presented a set of procedural suggestions to develop practical education programs in the State of Kuwait. (Published abstract)
