نموذج تدريسي مقترح للتدريس الجامعي في ضوء مبادئ التعلم النشط
The study's objective is to build a proposed model for university teaching in light of the principles of active learning by establishing the bases of building such a model and identifying the degree of its significance in the perspective of the specialists. In order to reach the goals of this study, it adopted the descriptive-analytical method. The study's population consisted of teaching staff members and students in Saudi universities. The model was built by following these steps: Identifying its philosophy, goal and bases upon which it is to be built. Further, the reliability of the model was verified, followed by giving a questionnaire to experts and specialists on its importance for university teaching. The study reached a conclusion that a model for university teaching should be provided based on the principles of active learning and it consisted of 6 stages in the following order: preparation and readiness; proposition and presentation; discussion, dialogue and interaction; contemplation; deduction; and development. The study also reached a conclusion of having a very high rate of agreement among specialists and experts regarding the importance of applying the model to university teaching as the arithmetic mean average to the rate of agreement among experts and specialists was 96.20%. Based on this conclusion, the study presented a number of recommendations and proposals. (Published abstract)
