The research aims to identify the sources of work stress for teachers of special education in Algeria, and to achieve this goal, the descriptive approach was followed, and the scale of sources of work stress for teachers of special education was applied by Ihab El-Beblawi (2004), and the scale was applied to a sample consisting of (64) teachers and teachers, After statistical analysis, the results revealed that there are many sources of work stress, namely: 1) Stresses related to the field of work in special education and came in the first rank and in a high degree with a high mean of (6.10). 2) Stresses related to the disabled students in the second rank in a medium degree with an average of (5.72). 3) Stresses related to the social climate in the third rank low with a mean of (5.60). 4) There are no differences in the sources of stress among teachers due to the gender variable. The research recommended the necessity of providing psychological and pedagogical centers for the disabled with the financial capabilities in order to secure a successful learning environment, while reducing the teaching responsibilities and burdens on teachers, and conducting training courses for them on strategies for coping with work pressures.
