الحاجات الإرشادية لطلبة الجذع المشترك علوم اجتماعية : دراسة ميدانية على عينة من طلبة جامعة محمد لمين دباغين سطيف 2
This research aims to find out the different substantial counseling needs as well as the degree of their presence among first year students in social sciences faculty. Also, it seeks to identify the differences in needs, which are attributed to gender variable, hall of residence, and work. To reach the results, the descriptive approach has been used. A tool is utilized by the researcher, consisted of 48 clauses, to measure the students' needs for counseling in seven areas where each clause has three alternative answers (to a great degree, to a moderate degree, to a low degree) according to a correction key (3, 2, 1), respectively, to obtain on the data. The study has been conducted on a sample of (212) males and females students, who were randomly selected, from Setif 2 University during the academic year (2019-2020). Through data collection and statistical analysis, the results have demonstrated that students need counseling in various fields, but to a moderate degree. Thus, these needs require care and satisfaction. Furthermore, this study has showed that there are statistically significant distinctions attributed to the gender variable in favor of females, whereas there are no statistically significant distinctions in hall of residence and work variables. In light of these result, we suggest the necessity of designing indicative programs based on the students’ actual needs in order to take care of them. (Published abstract)
