The study aims to use geographic information systems (GIS) in evaluating the accessibility of educational services for the secondary stage in the city of Abha. The study also aims to use geographic information systems to identify the extent of applying the selection of educational services sites for the secondary stage in the study area according to local standards using the spatial suitability model. The study adopted the building of an application model to evaluate the current situation of secondary school sites in the study area, as well as an application model was built for convenience, selecting the ideal sites for educational services and producing digital and paper maps for decision makers. The study also relied on the data available from the Education Department in the Asir region, the Secretariat of the Asir region and the branch of the Ministry of Transport in the Asir region, as well as the field study and the location of schools was determined by GPS. Arc GIS 10.6 spatial data processing software as the data maintains a database to build a spatial fit model. To use Spss to analyze statistical data, you can also use Excel to create some graphs and tables. The study found that the selection of educational services sites did not take into account all planning standards in the compatibility model. The study recommended reviewing the distribution of the proposed educational services in the study area in light of what is determined by spatial relevance models and standards. (Published abstract)
