الاحتياجات التدريبية للمشرفات التربويات في ضوء المعايير المهنية للمشرفين التربويين
This study aimed to identify the training needs of educational supervisors in lights of professional standards of educational supervisors. Researchers have used the descriptive survey methodology. A questionnaire was applied to collect data. The sample were (234) educational supervisors from the educational offices in Riyadh. The study shows that there is a high degree of agreement on the training needs of the educational supervisors in the light of the professional standards. The training needs in the field of leadership and supervision comes first and specially in (the foundations of leadership of change, and practices of supervisory methods). Secondly comes the training needs in the field of professional development in terms of (designing training programs and applying the skills of future foresight in planning training programs). Thirdly comes the needs in the field of supporting teaching and learning specially in (different thinking skills, and strategies of evaluation). Fourthly comes the training needs in improving programs, projects and curricula with main focus on (generalizing the applicable experiences and projects in the field, and the evaluation skills for existing projects). At last comes the training needs in the field of ethics and communication basically on (Group Management, and obtaining justice and objectivity in evaluation). (Published abstract)
