The current study aimed to identify the deficiencies of social skills in children with Down syndrome who are able to learn and train, more specifically cooperation skills, the sample size was estimated at 30 children (18 boys and 12 girls), whose ages ranged between 8 to 12 years, from the departments of the pedagogical center in Setif, the descriptive method was used. In order to verify the hypotheses that gave rise to the study, a measure of social skills was used, Which has been adapted by the researcher to measure the children’s degrees in cooperation skills, the Stanford Binet scale Arabized was also used to measure children's intelligence. The results of the study indicated that: Children with Down syndrome who are capable of learning and training have problems learning and acquiring cooperation skills, We also concluded that: There are statistically significant differences between children with Down syndrome who are able to learn male and female learning in cooperation skills. Among the most important suggestions is the need to help children learn social skills through the use of appropriate training programs in order to raise the efficiency and effectiveness of these skills, this is by educating male and female teachers on the need to focus on activities that include social skills.
