The aim of the study is to determine the degree to which social responsibility inside the school and outside influenced the sense of job alienation (feeling pessimism / disability / isolationism / dissatisfaction / indifference and...) among primary school principals in M’sila state in Algeria. To reach the required objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method conducting a questionnaire using fifty expressions divided into three dimensions: (social responsibility in the internal environment, social responsibility in the external environment, functional expatriation), after being presented to some specialists to establish the status of validity and reliability. The questionnaire was conducted upon a sample of one hundred principals representing 20% of primary schools in the state of M’sila. It was distributed to a population of five hundred and thirty participants (530). The response rate was (0.91). The sample represented the entire population in an effective way due to the non-randomization and the generalization percentage of the sample. The study found that there is a statistically significant effect of social responsibility inside and outside the school concerning the feeling of alienation at work among primary school principals at the level of (0.05 = α), where the degree of influence within the school (0.29) and outside (0.42) i.e. as soon as social responsibility levels increases the sense of alienation at work will too , and the greater the size of the sample increases, the degree of influence between the two variables increases too and that confirms the significance of this effect of the calculated (T) value, which reached (3.11) inside the school and (4.80) outside, and there is no effect of the variables of the educational district, academic qualifications , experience, number of training courses, and gender. This is due to the fact that most principals of primary schools in M’sila state recognize the concept of social responsibility as an important and necessary factor to achieve the effective performance that drives the educational community to achieve the objectives of the community school, despite the difficulties and the psychological, materialistic, and social obstacles that they face causing the feeling of alienation at work especially in the external environment of the school.
