The study aims to investigate the level of Internet addiction and its relation with psychological stress and the level of ambition among students of Al-Quds Open University in the southern governorates. The study uses the relational descriptive approach, by applying: Internet addiction, psychological stress, and the level of ambition scales, on an available sample include 214 students in the year 2021. The results show a moderate level of Internet addiction, with an average of 3.11, and a high level of ambition with an average of 3.92, while the average of psychological stress is 2.93, at a moderate level. The results indicate that there are statistically significant differences in Internet addiction and psychological pressures among students in favor of males, while the differences are indicative only in professional ambition in favor of females, and the differences in psychological pressure and its domains are in favor of below average economic level. The results indicate that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between Internet addiction and psychological stress, and a negative correlation between the level of ambition and psychological stress. Internet addiction explains 36.8% of the variation in psychological stress, while Internet addiction and the level of ambition together explain 38.1% of this variation. (Published abstract)
