The current study aimed at (the spread of aggressive behavior among middle school students) in the schools and districts of Babil governorate by constructing a measure of aggressive behavior and measuring the prevalence of aggressive behavior among middle school students and to see whether there were related differences statistically significant in the percentage of the spread of this behavior according to the gender variable and the housing variable the study was carried out on a randomly selected sample consisting of (160) male and female students for the intermediate school stage in Babil governorate for the academic year 2019-2020 divided into (80) students and (80) students belonging to four schools, two schools for boys and two schools for girls divided these schools into a school ( the sample percentage (15%) and the sample percentage of the indigenous community (0.024%). The study sample was randomly selected, consisting of (160) male and female students divided into (80) male and 80 female students belonging to four schools, two boys' schools and two girls' schools. These schools are divided into (boys, girls) rural and (boys and girls) schools and the percentage of the sample (15%) and the proportion of the sample to the indigenous community (0.024% . On the basis of perusal of the literature and previous studies, a scale was established and ascertaining its sincerity by presenting its paragraphs to a group of arbitrators with differences in order to express an opinion on their validity and suitability in terms of content and formulation of the paragraphs, although it is a constant of the system by distributing the scale in its final form to a sample composed of (40) students, they were randomly chosen, and after that, the same scale was distributed to the people that they are after (15) days to determine the degree of stability the results of the questionnaire were analyzed statistically to reveal the prevalence of aggressive behavior among middle school students, and the results due to it indicated that the prevalence of aggressive behavior (30%) in relation to the overall sample and (15%) in relation to the gender of the research community because it was the prevalence of aggressive behavior among females (13.75%) and for males (1.25%), indicating that the prevalence of aggressive behavior in females is greater than that of males. The results also indicated, after analyzing it statistically, that there were statistically significant differences in the prevalence of aggressive behavior among rural and city students, so the largest proportion of rural girls compared to girls in the city. While it was proven from the study that there were no statistically significant differences in the prevalence of aggressive behavior among males in the countryside or the city. From this study, it may be recommended to set training programs for middle school teachers on methods of dealing with students at this stage for the purpose of understanding their demands and psychological needs to reduce the rates of aggressive behavior and achieve psychological, educational and social compatibility for them.
