The study aimed to know the most prominent aspects indicating the return of education to the social milieu from which it began. To achieve the goals of the study, the researchers adopted the historical approach and the critical analysis approach. Therefore, they follow the march of education through civilizations and eras. Moreover, to monitor the rationale for the knowledge revolution and information technology and communication, with a review of the most important transformations witnessed in education at the present time and its manifestations, whether that occurred in school education or in non-school education. The most important results of the study are that education has returned to the social milieu from which it began. One of the most prominent manifestations of that is the extensive changes in educational systems in form and content, and that the internal and external processes and procedures of school education systems are carried out according to what is done in the non-school education that takes place in the social field. The results also indicated that non-school education is at the forefront of leadership in many countries of the world. Based on the current changes in education, the results indicated that the future expectations of non-school education that take place in the social milieu would be the focus of education for the societies of the twenty-first century. Furthermore, the school education remaining a synonym for non-school education, to assume tasks that non-school education cannot do on its own, such as the production of knowledge and the preparation of high-quality scientific competencies. The education systems are established and developed as a logical result from the collection of internal and external factors, and the study recommended a number of recommendations.
