The study aimed to find out the appropriateness of the concept of "the virtual school" to the adult education goals from the perspective of workers in adult education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to search for statistically significant differences in the study variables (gender, job, educational qualification, level of computer skills). The study used the descriptive-analytical method and questionnaire as a tool for study. The sample of this study was 145 teachers, school leaders, and educational supervisors in adult education schools. The study reached an “agreement” of the opinions of employees in adult education schools about the appropriateness of the concept of “virtual school” to the goals of adult education, the overall average of the participants ’responses to the questionnaire statements was (4.17) with a degree of “agree”. The study found that there was no statistical indication of the questionnaire statements based on the "gender" variable. The study also found statistically significant differences for some statements according to the variables of “educational qualification,” “job,” and “level of computer skills in education.” The study recommended activating e-learning for adult beneficiaries and conducting more research on the concept of a “virtual school” for other regions in the kingdom and the Arab countries.
