This study aimed to develop a teaching unit using 3d graphic organizers in teaching history and measure its impact on developing the historical imagination skills among the students of the eighth grade. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted that quasi- experimental approach as well as developing a unit according to using 3d graphic organizers and checking its validity and reliability, and was developed a test in applying the pre-test and the post-test of the historical imagination skills, contains (15) questions, the researcher administrated the unit on eighth grade students in second Zarqa educational directorate totaling (160) male and female students; divided into four groups; two experimental groups, one for girls (40), and the other for boys (40), and two control groups, one for girls totaling (40), and one for boys (40) students in schooling year 2019/2020. The results showed that there was a positive impact for developing a teaching unit through using the 3d graphic organizers in the teaching of history on developing the historical imagination skills among the eighth grade. The results also concluded statistically significant differences in the level of the historical imagination skills as a whole depending on the variable of gender in favor of males, and statistically significant differences at sig. (α=0.05) in the historical imagination skills according to the interaction between the group and the gender in favor of the males in the experimental group. The study recommended the need to conduct more studies in order to develop school curricula according to using the 3d graphic organizers in the teaching of all curriculums, and on developing the historical imagination skills among the students.
