The purpose of the study is to find out what family of children with mental disabilities think about their quality of life. An accidental sample of 84 families was assessed while children with developmental disabilities at the level of Chlef and Tiaret Province. Findings showed a high satisfaction in the quality of family life, it has also been reached that there is no difference in the level of satisfaction of the families of the mentally disabled for the quality of family life, depending on the type of mental disability. Also it found differences in the level of satisfaction of the families of the mentally disabled for the quality of family life, depending on the sex of the child with a disability.
