فاعلية استراتيجية لعب الدور المدعوم بالأمثال الشعبية في تدريس العلوم لتنمية القدرة على اتخاذ القرار والتحصيل وبقاء أثر التعلم لدى طلاب المرحلة الإعدادية
The research aimed at determining the effectiveness of Role play strategy supported by popular proverbs in developing academic achievement, decision-making and retention. To achieve that, the experimental method with the quasi-experimental design was used, achievement test, and testing the ability to make decisions, these tools were applied on a sample of (87) students of the 1st grade of preparatory school pupils distributed into two schools of educational Sinblaween district at Daqahliya governorate, however, (45) pupils for the experimental group and (42) pupils for the control group. Research results showed the following: 1) There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post-application of the achievement test for the experimental group. 2) There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post application of the test of decision – making skills for the experimental group. 3) There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the dimensional application and the deferred application in the academic achievement of the members of the experimental group. 4) There is a positive correlation at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the academic achievement and decision – making test of first grade preparatory students in science. According to these results the research presents some Recommendations and suggestion. (Author’s abstract)
