This study aimed at investigating the effect of using webquests on basic stage students' acquiring of tourist concepts at Umm Aljimal. The study sample consisted of (40) male and female students, which were chosen by the method available from the fourth-grade students from the two schools of Um al-Jimal secondary mixed school and Hay al-Madhalah primary school affiliated to the Education Directorate of the Northeast Badia Brigade. They were distributed randomly into two groups: an experimental group that studied according to the use of knowledge trips (Web Quest) and the number of students was (20) students, and a control group studied according to the usual method and the number of students reached (20) students, and the researcher used the semi-experimental method. To achieve the objectives of the study, a test was prepared to measure the acquisition of tourism concepts, and its charity and reliability were verified. Arithmetic averages, standard deviations and the accompanying binary variance analysis were used, and the results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences (α= 0.05) attributed to the effect of the interaction between the teaching method and gender. The results of the study showed an impact on the use of cognitive trips (Web Quest) in acquiring tourism concepts among the fourth-grade students for the benefit of the experimental group who studied using cognitive journeys (Web Quest) compared to individuals of the regular method, and in light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the use of cognitive trips (Web Quest) in teaching social and national education because of its positive impact on conceptual development Tourism and academic achievement among fourth-grade students.
