This study aimed to identify the productive thinking skills that set out in science book for 4th grade in Jordan, and the degree of practicing science teachers for the 4th grade in Jordan for productive thinking skills according to the gender variable, years of experience and the interaction between them. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher prepared continent analysis card and using a questionnaire to collect data from the sample of the study. The society of the study contains from science teachers for the 4th grade in Jordan. The researcher chose the sample of the study that consisted of (60) male and female science teachers for 4th grade in the region of Northwestern Al-Badia. The researcher developed the tool of study to monitor the productive thinking skills included in the content of developed science book (Collins) for the 4th grade, and now the degree of practicing of science teachers for it. The results of research showed that the productive thinking skills that set out in science book for 4th grade was in a high rating level and the degree of practicing the science teachers was in high level, too. According to the findings of the study that reached for it: The researcher recommends that it is necessary to encourage science teachers in elementary stage to use all the available information and communication technology in their school and functioning it in teaching the content of science. Also, she recommends that it is essential to design training programs for science teachers that especially included learning activities and their importance, plan for them and implement them, and the ways of encouraging students to participate in its various programs.
