مستوى فهم طبيعة المسعى العلمي في ضوء المشروع (2061) لدى الطلبة الجامعيين تخصص العلوم الحياتية في جامعة آل البيت في الأردن
This study aimed to know the level of understanding the nature of the scientific enterprise in light of the project 2061 among undergraduate’s biology students at the University of Al-al Bayt in the academic year (2019/2020), and to know the impact of gender and academic level variables at this level. The sample of the study consisted of (255) male and female students, and to collect the study data a test was applied to understand the nature of the scientific enterprise. Our results showed that the degree of undergraduate students specializing in life sciences understanding of the nature of the scientific enterprise is low and below the educationally acceptable level, as well as they showed that there are no statistically significant differences attributable due to the effect of gender and academic level, there were also statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) to the degree of students ’understanding of the nature of the scientific enterprise due to the effect of the interaction between sex and academic level. The study concluded by recommending the introduction of courses on the nature of the scientific enterprise in the programs of colleges of science and holding training courses for faculty members to train in modern teaching methods that help them develop an understanding of science among their students and enlighten students about what they know.
