This study aims to investigate the effect of using roundhouse strategy on the basic sixth grade female students’ achievement in the science subject in the light of their self-effectiveness. The sample of the study consisted of 60 sixth grade female students in the academic year 2020/2021 in Khawla Bint Al-Azwar Elementary Mixed School schools in North West Badia Directorate of Education. To achieve the study objectives, the study followed a quasi-experimental design; the experimental group was taught by using roundhouse strategy and the control group was taught by using the regular teaching method. The study used a science test and the self-effectiveness scale to measure the students’ achievement in science subjects. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05) in the mean scores of the post-test between the control group and the experimental group in favor of the experimental group, the results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05) in the degree of students’ achievement, which were attributed to the levels of self-effectiveness (high, low), in favor of the students with high activity. The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05) in the degree of students ’achievement due to the interaction between the teaching strategy and self-effectiveness. In light of these results, the researcher proposed some recommendations to adapt the roundhouse strategy for its impact on the achievement and self-efficacy. (Author’s abstract)
