متطلبات تطبيق الإدارة الذاتية في مدارس التعليم العام بمدينة إب- اليمن
The current research aims to get to know the requirements of applying the School Based Management at public schools in Ibb City, Yemen. It also aims to identify the effect of research variables, viz. gender, character (specialized - practicing) and years of experience according to the estimations of the participants involved in this study. To achieve these objectives, the researcher employs the descriptive and survey approach. A questionnaire consisted of (77) items distributed on (7) domains was designed to collect the data and information. After obtaining the questionnaire’s validity and reliability, it was administered to (66) participants in the field of educational administration and headmasters of public schools in Ibb City. The research concludes with some results, the most important of which are: the estimations of the participants for the tool’s items were significantly high. The results show that there are no differences with statistical significance at (a 0.05) for the estimations of the participants for the tool’s items attributed to character (specialized - practicing) and years of experience. The research recommends that Ministry of Education should provide correct and organized conditions to apply School Based Management in public schools. It is also recommended that the local community should be encouraged to participate actively and support school management. (Published abstract)
