أثر استخدام الأسلوب القصصي التعاوني في مستوى أداء مهارة التعبير الشفوي في اللغة العربية لدى طلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في الأردن
The study has aimed at identifying the effect of the use of cooperative narrative method in the level of performance of the skill of oral expression in the Arabic language for the fifth-grade students in Jordan. The researcher used the semi-experimental method. The sample consisted of 40 students from independence international school. The participants were divided into two groups, experimental group, and control group. Each group has consisted of 20 students. In order to achieve the study objectives, a study tool (observation card) was developed. The students have been taught in a cooperative storytelling and then they have been evaluated on the observation card through pre- and post-tests. The statistical package for social science (SPSS) program has been used for analyzing data. The results of study found that there has been a statistically significant difference of (α = 0.05) between the arithmetic averages of oral expression skill among the fifth-grade students due to the method of teaching (cooperative storytelling, conventional method) and for the benefit of the experimental group. The study results also indicated that there was no statistically significant difference at the level of (α = 0.05) for the interaction of the sex variable and the method of teaching (cooperative storytelling, conventional method) in the performance of the students of the fifth grade for the skills of oral expression. The study has recommended that courses should be held for teachers and educational supervisors on using the cooperative storytelling teaching method of the Arabic language because of their impact on improving the skills of oral expression and linguistic level of students.
