تقييم الكفايات التدريسية لمعلمي التربية الرياضية من وجهة نظرهم في ضوء متطلبات مجتمع المعرفة للقرن الواحد والعشرين



The study aimed to identify the evaluation of teaching competencies of physical education teachers from their perspective according to knowledge society requirements of 21st century. The sample of the study was randomly selected from the study population consisting of (354) both male and female teachers and the researcher used the descriptive approach since it is suitable for the study purpose. For the purpose of data collection, a proposed measure has been constructed for the evaluation of physical teachers' teaching competencies from their prospective according to the knowledge society requirements in the 21st century. The study questions were answered using descriptive statistical methods such as using mean and standard deviations. The results showed that the level of competence for physical education teachers' knowledge according to the requirements of the knowledge society in the twenty-first century scored high. Moreover, it was found that the level of application of physical education teachers' competencies scored medium according to the requirements of the knowledge society in the twenty-first century. Results showed no statistically significant correlation at the significance level (0.05≤ α) in the level of knowledge and application of physical education teachers' competencies according to the requirements of the knowledge society in the 21st century. Accordingly, the study made several recommendations, most important of which is to raise the level of the practicality for the competencies of physical education teachers in according to the requirements of the knowledge society.
