This study aimed to identify the most important obstacles that hider their career empowerment Individuals with Intellectual Disability. It also aimed to identify the most important suggestions that help to empower them from the point of view of their parents. To achieve these goals, the researcher used the descriptive, survey method by designing a study instrument which was a questionnaire developed by the researcher. This questionnaire was used with (322) parents of students with intellectual disability in the secondary stage attending intellectual education programs in Riyadh. The following are the most important results, which the study revealed. Obstacles that hinder occupational empowerment of students with intellectual disability in labor market are: obstacles related to society followed by obstacles related to the family and obstacles related to students with intellectual disability themselves. Finally, there are obstacles related to coworkers. Results showed that the most important solutions towards occupational empowerment of students with intellectual disability in labor market are: establishing an entity that cares for employing people with disabilities, establishing a monitoring entity that supervises and monitors the process of employing those with intellectual disability and punishes those who violate their rights, providing financial and informational support by concerned entities to employment sectors in terms of suitable accommodations for students with intellectual disability such as accommodations in buildings and work hours to facilitate empowerment of students with intellectual disability to take these jobs.
