As a result of the new circumstances caused by the Corona pandemic such as the complete shutdown of the educational and specialized institutions especially with application of the social distancing protocol in order to preserve the physical and mental safety of people. It’s necessary for us, as specialists, to use the different technological devices and applications in order to take care of special needs persons because they provided us a way to deal with this category and their parents more quickly and accurately, even though, in some cases, it was unknown or possible in the past which presents the core of our study that asks the question, whether the use of these devices to continue taking care and training this category, is sufficient on the application of the treatment protocol in order to re-educate and enhance the cognitive processes like the attention and the awareness presented to children with autism spectrum using the ZOOM application and different social media sites. Our study involves around six children with autism spectrum and their parents. This protocol includes a group of training and educational activities that have the most important subjects which have a deep connection with proper sensory-motor and cognitive development of a normal child. It suggests developing some shortcomings of a special needs child in general and a child with autism spectrum specifically. The results showed that these alternatives and technologies are still far from sufficient and limited. The parents prefer the physical care instead of the remote sponsorship. As a result to this study, we concluded that the parents are recommended to accept these technological methods as a way to deal with these cases. (Published Abstract)
