This study aimed at determining the extent of mathematic teacher’s use of electronic learning, in public and private elementary schools in Hafr Al Baten governorate in Saudi Arabia, and its relation to variables such as training courses and teaching experience. The sample of the study consists of the entire population of the study, which is 185 the total number of mathematic teachers in elementary schools in the targeted governorate, 160 of them in public and 25 in private schools. In order to achieve the objectives of the study which are the measuring of the extent of mathematic teachers use of electronic learning, in public and private elementary school in Hafr Al Baten, researcher has developed a questionnaire consists of 26 items, to be the study’s tool. The questionnaire distribution over the study’s sample took place at the beginning of the school year 2009/2010. Researcher used, means and standard deviation, and ANOVA along with T- test to answer the study's questions. The study showed that the level of mathematic teacher’s use of electronic teaching and learning was low in public schools, while it was higher in private schools. Furthermore, results revealed the presence of statistically significant variations among arithmetic means of electronic learning use by study’s participants due to training courses and teaching experience variables. Based upon these results, researcher recommends holding specialized training courses for mathematic teachers on how to use the electronic learning and its various applications. (Author’s abstract)
