تقويم كتاب مبادئ الحاسب والمعلومات للصف الأول الثانوي في المملكة العربية السعودية من وجهة نظر المعلمين والمشكلات التي تواجه الطلبة في دراسته
The present study aimed to know the extent of evaluating the information and computer book's principles for the 1st secondary grade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the teacher's point of view and the problems encountering the students in their study. Study population consisted of all male and female teachers who teach this textbook, and the first secondary students in Tabouk region. The researcher selected a stratified sample consisted of 200 male and female teachers and 400 male and female students. To achieve the study purposes the researcher, build a questionnaire that consisted of five dimensions majoring the goals characteristics (the content, activities, educational media, evaluation, and the book's artistic production). In addition to another questionnaire that addressed the problems that fact students in studying the textbook. Questionnaires’ validity and reliability where affirmed. After conducting the statistical analysis process, the researcher reached the following results: 1) Computer teachers’ estimations regarding the book's specifications used the for 1st secondary class in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at each of the dimensions (the purpose, content, activities, educational media, evaluation, books, and artistes’ production) where moderate. 2) The differences between the means reached the statistical significance level for the dimensions (the content, activities, educational media, and the total estimation) according to the teacher's gender variable, all t-values for these dimensions. 3) The differences between the means did not reach the level of the statistical significance for all dimensions according to the variable of educational qualification (bachelor or less and higher than bachelor).
